Rotate selected PDF pages without turning the whole document

Choose actual page positions, add a clockwise rotation, and verify a mixed-orientation PDF after export.

A single sideways scan can make an otherwise readable PDF awkward to use. PDF Page Rotator applies an additional clockwise rotation to selected page positions. This lets you correct an isolated page while keeping correctly oriented pages in their existing order.

Find the pages that need correction

Open the source PDF in a viewer and note each affected page’s position in the file. The first page is position 1, regardless of any cover, Roman numeral, or printed page number. Upload one unencrypted PDF no larger than 30 MB and containing no more than 100 pages.

Enter a selection such as 2, 5-6. Leave the page field blank only when you intentionally want to rotate every page. Each position must appear once, and ranges must stay inside the document’s bounds.

Choose 90, 180, or 270 degrees for Additional clockwise rotation. The word additional matters: the setting is added to each selected page’s existing rotation. A 270-degree clockwise turn is a quarter-turn in the counterclockwise direction when considering the final orientation.

Correct a mixed document

Imagine a six-page PDF. Pages 2 and 5 appear sideways and both need a 90-degree clockwise turn. Enter 2, 5, choose 90, and create the PDF. The output still has six pages in the original sequence; only those two page rotations change.

If a selected page already has a 90-degree rotation value, adding 90 makes its new value 180. The tool adds the angle instead of resetting every selected page to an absolute orientation. This is why viewing the final appearance is more reliable than inferring it from a filename or a previous edit.

Download the result and inspect every selected page, plus one untouched page as a control. Check page thumbnails and a full-size view. If only one correction is wrong, return to the original and change that selection or angle instead of repeatedly rotating an uncertain intermediate copy.

Preserve the authoritative PDF

The operation stays in your browser and does not overwrite the source. PDF rewriting can affect digital signatures, forms, bookmarks, and attachments. Retain originals and test features that recipients depend on; a rotated visual page does not prove a signature remains valid.

Encrypted or damaged PDFs may fail to open. Rotation also cannot straighten a slightly skewed scan because only quarter-turn angles are provided. Use PDF Page Reorder when pages are in the wrong sequence. Use PDF to JPG if you need a separate visual page export for another editing workflow.
